HealthWatch, Inc.

HealthWatch, Inc. is organized to provide patient safety products and services to all segments along the health care continuum. Our goals are to improve patient safety and to reduce the incidence of events that adversely effect patient safety.

To achieve these goals, HealthWatch, Inc. is prepared to collect and analyze adverse event data from client organizations, aggregate event data from all clients and report on accumulated findings, offer best practice solutions to clients, provide consultation to clients on the root causes of individual adverse events, and to work with other patient safety organizations to create a safer health system in the United States.

On November 5, 2008, HealthWatch was the tenth organization in the nation to receive initial certification as a Patient Safety Organization (PSO). This designation is given through the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
