Mr. Weller is a seasoned healthcare executive with a wide array of experience in hospital, health systems, and ambulatory care systems.
His distinguished career includes more than 25 years of executive-level experience including 17 years with Franklin Square Hospital Center, Inc, a Helix Health Hospital, where he served as Vice President of Operations. In this capacity, he led ten department heads and their staffs of approximately 700. As a Vice President with Helix Health, he also developed and implemented the company’s risk and insurance management programs.
Mr. Weller’s other executive experience has included work with the University of Maryland Hospital and the Dialysis Corporation of America. He is active in his local community and has served on the board of directors for the American Heart Association, Baltimore Chapter and the Eastern Baltimore Area Chamber of Commerce. Other professional memberships include the Maryland Hospital Association, Maryland Hospital Education Institute, American Health Information Management Association and the Maryland Health Information Management Association.
Mr. Weller earned his Master of Business Administration at Loyola College of Baltimore. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Records Administration from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Western Maryland College.
